Since the inception of his career as an attorney, his principal focus has been criminal defense litigation and jury trials. Mr. Blake represents clients all over the north state, conducting jury trials in Shasta, Glenn, Tehama and Butte County.

After completing his undergraduate studies at University of California, Berkeley, Mr. Blake attended and graduated from University of California, Davis School of Law in 2012. While at King Hall, Mr. Blake was a finalist for the Martin Luther King Jr. Service award for his work in the “Prison Law Clinic”, working tirelessly to help his client earn a grant of parole after 43 years of incarceration.

Mr. Blake has extensive trial litigation experience. He has argued dozens of cases to juries and gained acquittals in cases with the potential of life imprisonment. For the past seven years, Mr. Blake operated his own law office. In May of 2021, Mr. Blake brought his extensive courtroom experience to the Peter’s Firm as an associate.

Mr. Blake grew up in Pleasanton, California in a small tight-knit family. While in college, Mr. Blake volunteered as a youth basketball coach and referee. He continues to stay active and is an avid athlete and sports fan. He is a long suffering and passionate supporter of the Buffalo Bills. When he isn’t in the courtroom Mr. Blake is often exploring Bidwell Park with his wife Danielle and their two sons Joaquin and Luca.
