    Partner Anthony Cardoza represented a client who faced felony charges of Domestic Violence and False Imprisonment. Prior to trial, Mr. Cardoza was able to get the charged reduced to misdemeanors by the Judge at the Preliminary Hearing. At trial, the client was found not guilty of all charges, including a lesser included charge of battery. After two days of trial, it took the jury less than an hour to find our client not guilty of all charges.

If convicted, he could have faced one year of jail time, and he would have lost his right to own firearms, which would have then ended his longtime career. Due to Cardoza’s work, the defendant’s verdict was an acquittal of all charges.
